Anne M. Koehlinger has always been interested in culinary arts, but really began to see it as a potential career after taking a trip with her parents to Paris. She not only had the opportunity to meet chefs from a number of renowned restaurants, but also was able to gain a better understanding of how food was woven into the Parisian culture. After this experience, Anne M. Koehlinger determined she would enroll in a four-year university following high-school graduation and pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Studies. By doing so, she would be able to one day own and operate her own restaurant.
Anne M. Koehlinger is a natural entrepreneur, and actually gained her first taste of entrepreneurship when she was a lot younger. One summer at her family’s lake house, she decided to create and sell jewelry to neighbors. She hopes the professional degree she is working on at a nearby culinary college will allow her to build on the knowledge she gained in her first entrepreneurship experience.
